<p>PURPOSE:To realize a microcomputer capable of suppressing power consumption to an appropriate level correspondingly to a change in the oscillation frequency or clock frequency of a CPU. CONSTITUTION:This microcomputer is provided with a CPU 2 operating as a central processor, a trimming control circuit 4 for storing a digital value including frequency information outputted from the CPU 2 through a prescribed application software, a trimming circuit 5 for generating and outputting reference voltage 102 for CPU driving voltage at the time of receiving the digital value outputted from the circuit 4, and a regulator circuit 1 for receiving the reference voltage and generating and outputting the CPU driving voltage 101 matched with the frequency information by using the reference voltage as a base.</p> |
