<p>PURPOSE: To facilitate insertion/draw-out of a food container and to control fermentation correctly by providing a fermentation compartment in a refrigerator and controlling the inner temperature thereof by receiving a data concerning to the ion concentration of a fermenting food sensed in a storage container at the receiving section in the fermentation compartment thereby effecting storage and fermentation of the fermenting food. CONSTITUTION: An evaporator is set in a fermentation compartment between a refrigeration compartment and a vegetable compartment and a refrigerant is circulated through the evaporator by driving a compressor 35 for cooling only the fermentation compartment where heat exchange takes place directly and a ripening food is stored therein under low temperature state. A receiving section 26 receives a ripening data signal of a fermenting food transmitted by harmonic from a storage container control section 22 and a refrigerator control section 25 controls a compressor 33 and a heating section 36 in order to control the temperature in the fermentation compartment according to the ripening data received at the receiving section 26, i.e., the temperature, hydrogen ion concentration, CO2 concentration and gas pressure data.</p> |
