<p>PURPOSE: To correct the operating point of a transmission system concerning method and instrument for measurement using analog optical signal transmission. CONSTITUTION: In addition to a measuring mode, an operating point correcting mode is programmed. In the operating point correcting mode, a zero potential corresponding to measure signal zero is applied to an electric/optic(E/O) signal converter 6, an evaluate signal S' of an O/E signal converter 5 is measured as a controlled variable and compared with a predetermined target evaluate signal value REFS' and an operating point current IOS is changed until the deviation between the evaluate signal S' and the target evaluate signal value REFS' gets less than a predetermined allowable value.</p> |
