<p>The telephone exchange system includes memories to record details of calls received. The exchange unit (3) is connected to a telecommunications network (1). The exchange has a switch (4) which directs calls to operators (8) on some basis. All calls are identified (31) either via an identification signal or by keypad entry or by the operators. Two memories (32,33) are provided. One of the memories records the identification data, time stamp and full conversation. The other memory records less data such as identification and time. The memories can be searched to retrieve information.</p> |
