The invention relates to a tensioning device for permanently or temporarily connecting together slack eliminating and tensioning of strap-like material consisting of an elongated handle. The handle (1) comprises in one end a spool formed part (2) provided perpendicular out from the handle and having a diagonally cut through slit (3) and in its other end a part (5), also protruding in a perpendicular relation to the handle and in the same direction as the spool formed part (2), said part (5) is formed to receive the strap, whereby at least one strap is insertable into the slit (3) and turnable around the spool formed part (2) until the strap is enough tensioned, whereupon the protruding part (5) is insertable under the tensioned strap (6, 7) in order to be fixed to the same. |
