PURPOSE:To provide the drain control method for a hand shower preventing a bather from being poured with the hot water accumulated in a pipe to the hand shower when taking a shower in the high-temperature state of a bathroom. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 1 from a mixing faucet is connected to a pipe 3 reaching a hand shower head 7 via a three-way selector valve 4, a drain pipe 2 is connected to the three-way selector valve 4, and a temperature sensor 5 is provided in the pipe connected to the hand shower head 7. The temperature sensor 5 is connected to a control device 6 connected to the three-way selector valve 4. When the temperature sensor 5 detects that the temperature of the hot water in the pipe connected to the hand shower head 7 becomes the set temperature or above, the three-way selector valve 4 is controlled by the control device 6, and the hot water in the pipe connected to the hand shower head 7 can be discharged from the drain pipe 2. |
