PURPOSE:To obtain a lubricant composition for hot rolling processing capable of preventing seizing of a steel material to the surface of a rolling roll, extremely reducing wear of the roll and also suppressing the occurrence of scale flaw on the surface of a steel material in hot rolling a carbon steel material in rolling a stainless steel or rolling under a high-load condition. CONSTITUTION:A lubricant composition comprises 20-70wt.% based on the whole weight of the composition of a metal salt phenate having >=40mg-KOH/g base value or a mixture of this metal salt phenate and a metal salt sulfonate having >=40mg-KOH/g base value. |
