PURPOSE:To regulate braking force in response to a change in engine brake characteristics, so as to improve accuracy in automatic braking control by judging the necessity of braking of a vehicle by a braking device by means of the of an operating condition detecting means, calculating a target braking value, and correcting the braking force according to a detected engine brake force. CONSTITUTION:Target deceleration being a target braking value is calculated according to an inter-vehicle distance, vehicle speed, relative speed and longitudinal G detected by the radar head parts 33 and 34 and a longitudinal G sensor 43 as an operating condition detecting means, and reference brake pressure is set according to a detected shift position, and brake pressure is controlled in a feedback process so as to be converged to the target deceleration by using the reference brake pressure as a reference. Anticipative judgment is made on whether or not deceleration fuel cut is released by an EG160, and when it is judged that release is carried out, the brake pressure is increased temporarily by an automatic braking control unit 45. |
