DISCOLORATION PREVENTING AGENT FOR PERISHABEL

PURPOSE:To prevent perishables from discoloring by adding an additive thereto. CONSTITUTION:This discoloration preventing agent for perishables uses (1) kojic acid and erythorbic acid and/or an alkali metallic salt of the erythorbic acid as active ingredients. Furthermore, (2) the preventing agent is obtained by using the kojic acid and erythorbic acid and/or the alkali metallic salt of the erythorbic acid and one or two or more selected from organic acids and/or salts thereof and inorganic acids and/or salts thereof in combination.
