PURPOSE:To provide a water passing vent type suction and sending-back device for cataract operation forming no waveform due to a sudden atmospheric pressure change by adding a sending-back function to the suction device in order to enhance the response of the balance recover of a liquid flow system. CONSTITUTION:In a suction device for cataract operation having such a structure that the perfusion 11 supplied from a perfusion bottle 1 is injected in the anterior sac from a perfusion supply line 3 by a handpiece 4 having an ultrasonic chip and perfusion injection and suction ports provided to the leading end thereof and broken pieces after operation are discharged from a suction port by operating the suction pump provided to the leading end of the handpiece 4 and equipped with a vent valve 71 for releasing suction pressure, the device for returning the suction pressure to atmospheric pressure has such a structure that a suction and sending-back device 7 is provided to the suction pump and consists of a footswitch and a reversible peristaltic pump 6. |
