PURPOSE:To clean off a deposit on the inside of a pipe by allowing an abrasive to flow on the inside of the pipe from one to the other end, moving a pig and passing the abrasive concentratedly through a narrow clearance between the pipe and pig at high density and flow speed. CONSTITUTION:When the inside of an existing pipe 1 is cleaned, a powdery abrasive K is charged from a tank 2 connected to one end of the pipe 1 and discharged. The abrasive K is sucked by an evacuating, cleaning and recovering device 3 connected to the other end of the pipe 1. A pig 5 is pulled with a wire 4 through the pipe 1 and moved by an untwister 6 without being rotated. When the abrasive K reaches the pipe 5, the abrasive is concentratedly passed through a narrow clearance S between the pig 5 and the pipe. Consequently, the density and flow speed of the abrasive K are increased, the deposit on the inside of a pipe is removed, and the inside is cleaned. |
