发明名称 METHOD FOR RECOVERING VALUABLE COMPONENT FROM STEELMAKING SLAG
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reutilize a steelmaking slag as the lime or phosphorus source by dephosphorizing the slag. CONSTITUTION:A steelmaking slag is mixed with an iron oxide source and/or a carbon source so that phosphorus pentoxide: free iron oxide: carbon =1:0.5 to 15:0.5 to 5 in weight ratio, and the mixture is burnt at 1100-1300 deg.C in a nonoxidizing atmosphere, cooled and magnetically separated. The separated magnetic material consists essentially of iron phosphide. The iron phosphate is utilized as a rust inhibiting coating extender, catalyst or a substitute for phosphate rock. The phosphorus pentoxide concn. is remarkably lowered in the nonmagnetic material, and the nonmagnetic material is usable as the steel material. Consequently, the slag is dephosphorized almost without being melted, the refractory of a treating furnace is hardly eroded, and the service life of the furnace is prolonged.</p>
