PURPOSE:To make a sewing operation easier and more efficient by using a piled fabric or raised fabric for a backing member, superposing a thermally fusing sheet on the piled surface or raised surface and heating this thermally fusing sheet, thereby adhering the sheet to a base member, such as supporter, having stretchability. CONSTITUTION:The piled fabric or the fabric having a raised surface is used as a backing member blank material 10. The thermally fusing sheet 11 is temporally adhered to the piled surface or raised surface thereof. The backing member blank material 10 with the thermally fusing sheet 11 is cut to a desired shape by die blanking, etc., to form the backing member 13 with the thermally fusing sheet 11. A core member, such as cushion material made of foamed rubber, is then interposed in the prescribed position of the base member, such as supporter for the ankle, so as to hold the member and the backing member 13 is thermally fused by the thermally fusing sheet 11. |
