PURPOSE: To prevent a rupture and a short circuit and surely and safely make an electric connection by arranging an electric conductor made of a fluid in an insulating sleeve, and electrically connecting a contact and the electrode surface on an electrode device at the proximal end of the electrode device. CONSTITUTION: An electrode device 6 connecting a pacemaker 2 to a heart 4, for example, is provided with a chip electrode 8 arranged on the right ventricle of the heart 4, a ring electrode 10 detecting a cardiac signal, and a contact device 12 breaking off the connection to the pacemaker 2. A metal conductor 20 is spirally arranged on an insulating sleeve 18 filled with an electrolyte 24 made of a fluid to form the electrode device 6. The metal conductor 20 is covered with an insulating material 22 to be insulated from the electrolyte 24. The ring electrode 10 is formed integrally with the insulating sleeve 18, and signals are transmitted between it and the pacemaker 2. The fluid forming the electrolyte 24 is a nonmetal. |
