<p>PURPOSE: To improve the stability of a putter head during a stroke action and an address action. CONSTITUTION: This putter head is provided with a putter body and a control rail 20. The putter body is provided with a heel 14, a toe 14a, a sole forming a bottom section wall 12 a, and a ball hitting front face 13, and it is slenderly extended between the heel 14 and the toe 14a. The control rail 20 is extended downward from the bottom section wall 12a, and it is slenderly extended between the heel 14 arid the toe 14a. The control rail 20 is arranged so as to be separated from the front face to the rear along its length. The control rail 20 stabilizes a putter so that the putter is engaged with the lawn when it is put on the green and the head is not twisted when it is stationarily set downward.</p> |
