PURPOSE: To provide a device for grasping, moving and/or turning articles having axial symmetry capable of grasping articles with the longitudinal central axis of the grasping device aligned with the longitudinal central axis of the articles and turning the grasped article, preferably round and/or tubular articles. CONSTITUTION: This grasping device is so constructed that the respective grasping elements 18-20 are fixed in the outer edge region of each one planetary gear 11-13 of a planetary gear transmission having at least two planetary gears and one sun gear 10, the planetary gear 11-13 and the sun gear 10 are rotatably held in a frame, the sun gear 10 and the frame are disposed on the shaft part, and the shaft part is connected to a driving device. |
