CONSTITUTION:A glass member 5 is held by glass member holding devices 1, 2 within a cavity 10 which is formed of a movable half of a mold 3 and cavity side part 4 which abut each other on a dividing face 13 of the mold. Then a core 6 constituting an optical surface facing on an optical surface 12 of the glass member 5 is formed of transparent glass. An axial deviation detecting device constituted of a light source 7, two-dimensional light intensity distribution measuring device 8 and optical system 9 is installed in the rear of the transparent core 6.
