PURPOSE:To provide a mold device of a lower case for a floppy disk which is capable of coping with high cycle molding. CONSTITUTION:In a carving surface 82 of a movable mold 80, a thickness omission forming part 83 is provided in a projecting state on a predetermined sphere Y3 which is between a shutter area part and label area part and includes an ejector block 84 for formation of a through hole so that thicknesses of parts each of a lower case which includes a part corresponding to the sphere Y3 and is molded become almost identical with each other. Hereby, consequently since air gap intervals of a cavity become almost uniform by the thickness omission forming part 83 and temperature control within the cavity is equalized, sufficient control of a warp of the lower case on a mold side becomes possible. Therefore, control of the warp of the lower case by changing a cooling effect of the mold becomes unnecessary and the mold can cope sufficiently with high cycling. |
