PURPOSE: To obtain a really effective hair tonic containing β-sitosterol, campesterol or an unsaponified soybean oil as an active ingredient, and manifesting a strong hair tonic activities when applied to a human scalp or an animal skin. CONSTITUTION: The objective really effective hair tonic manifesting a strong hair tonic activities when applied to a human scalp or an animal skin is obtained by formulating β-sitosterol and/or campesterol, or an unsaponified soybean oil as an active ingredient with other hair tonic agent such as benzalkonium chloride and menthol, or hair dressing agent, and a substrate for the hair tonic such as ethyl alcohol and purified water. Further, hormones, vitamins, amino acids, crude drug extracts, a pigment, a wetting agent, a perfume, etc., can be formulated with the hair tonic. |
