The subject of the invention is continuous hydraulic pumping apparatus which can be fitted to any piston-type water pump. The hydraulic energy necessary for operation originates from a moving mass of water. Its thrust, on the vanes (blades) of a submerged turbine (17) or of an external impeller wheel triggers a rotation of the shafts (16.8.5) and converts the vertical rotational force into a horizonal rotational force, via universal joints (9). The horizontal upper shaft (5), in turn, by means of the flywheel (11) fixed to one of its ends, actuates the piston of the pump body with a vertical reciprocating movement thus allowing water to be raised in the pump. This hydraulic apparatus can be fastened to any piston-type pump regardless as to whether or not it is equipped with a straining basket, and regardless as to whether it is a lifting pump or a forcing pump or both. <IMAGE>
