PURPOSE: To obtain a floor slab that is stable, and strong and easy of handling, transportation and storage. CONSTITUTION: Slabs are assembled with each other and concrete is laid on them to form a monolithic concrete deck. The slab comprises a thin rectangular concrete main body and a plurality of parallel longitudinal passages 2 penetrating the main body. The concrete flows into the passages via slots 3 provided in an upper face 4 of the main body and is set. A plurality of reinforcing rods 6 are embedded in the main body.
