PURPOSE: To model a craniofacial structure from a cranium measuring side X-ray photograph without referring to an ideal cranial bone by deciding a bone point, plotting an analysis line, measuring an angle, comparing these with a threshold value, and comparing measured values of a length with each other. CONSTITUTION: A straight line D3 passing through a point P1 on a frontal processus of a maxilla and a point P3 on a processus clinoideus posterior upper part is plotted, and a straight line D4 which passes through a point P9 on an anterior nasal spine and contacts with a point P14 of the cranical contour and a straight line D5 which is parallel to the straight line D3 and passes through the point P9 are plotted. [(An angle formed by P3, P11, P12) < 180 deg.] is realized, and [(P3, P11) < (P11, P12)] is realized, and [(P1, P5) < (P16, P5)] is realized, and when an angleγformed by the straight lines D4 and D5 is positive, a diagram is classified as a cranium bending model, and [(An angle formed by P3, P11, P12) > 180 deg.] is realized, and [(P3, P11) > (P11, P12)] is realized, and [(P1, P5) > (P16, P5)] is realized, and when the angleγis negative, the diagram is classified as a cranium spreading model.
