PURPOSE: To provide a lower motor cover fixture for an outboard engine allowing easy access for maintenance and inspection, and not impairing the appearance of the outboard engine. CONSTITUTION: This device has first and second lower motor cover half bodies 18, 20 respectively formed with attaching means 78, 80F, 80R, 88, 90, and a lock means 84 for fixing the respective lower motor cover half bodies 18, 20 engaged with each other by the corresponding attaching means 78-90 to a motor. An outboard water indication opening 68 in the first lower motor cover half body 18 is disposed nearly coaxially with at least one of the fitting means 78-90. |
