PURPOSE:To obtain an integral-skin-clad polyurethane foam which is expanded with water only, has a low surface hardness and does not blister when demolded by performing a process for obtaining a polyurethane foam by pouring an aromatic polyisocyanate, a high-molecular-weight NCO-reactive compound, a cross- linking agent, water and a fatty acid methyl ester as a viscosity reducing agent in the presence of a catalyst into a mold, wherein the amount of the fatty acid methyl ester added is specified. CONSTITUTION:A process for obtaining the polyurethane foam by pouring an aromatic polyisocyanate, a high-molecular-weight NCO-reactive compound (A) (e.g. polymer polyol), a cross-linking agent (e.g. diethylene glycol), water as a blowing agent, a fatty acid methyl eater desirably one having 6-20 carbon atoms in the fatty acid moiety as a viscosity reducing agent in the presence of a catalyst (e.g. triethylenediamine) into a mold, wherein the amount of the fatty acid methyl ester added is 5-20 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. compound A, is provided. As a result, the objective foam having a density of 0.3-0.8g/cm<3> is obtained. |
