PURPOSE: To provide a device for a guide wire which penetrates through the whole obstruction body with high reliability and operates as a guide rail to pass a medical device by arranging a tubular sheath means, a conductive guide wire which has an electric surgical tip and passes the sheath means and a voltage generating means connected to the conductive guide wire. CONSTITUTION: A guide wire system 10 has a radio frequency(RF) generator console 12 to receive electric power from a power source cord 11, and the RF generator console 12 has a switch means like a foot pedal 14. A guide wire 26 has insulation 28 just after the distant end 30 to prevent propagation of RF energy from a point except for the tip 30 of the guide wire 26. The foot pedal 14 is pushed down, and the tip 30 is electrically excited through an electric connecting terminal 20, a cable 18, a terminal 16 and the RF generator console 12. Every time when the foot pedal 14 is stepped, an energy pulse is supplied to a tissue contacting with the tip 30 of the guide wire 26. |
