PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a survey instrument using nuclear magnetic resonance suitable for interventional MRI without the limitation of the selection of a photographing cross section and a phase encoding axis. SOLUTION: By using loop coils 91-1, 91-2 and 91-3 arranged on the outer periphery of an object within a plane including a line segment parallel to a magnetostatic field direction (z) and surface coils 92-1 and 92-2 arranged near the surface of the object within the plane (xy) including the line segment vertical to the magnetostatic field direction, a reception coil is constituted. The state where two or more sub coils of non-uniform sensitivity profiles at an optional axis are present and sensitivity is provided in the entire photographing area is realized.
