PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leaf mold compressed product modified so as to allow improving efficiency in a transportation, a storage, an exhibition, etc., and easily developing and restoring by human power without deteriorating excellent properties of a leaf mold such as air permeability, water permeability and fertilization retentivity. SOLUTION: This leaf mold compressed product having good shape retentivity and capable of easily being developed and restored by human power is obtained by sifting the leaf mold regulated in decay ripeness and moisture content to remove foreign substances and coarse substances and performing compression molding while deaerating lower side of the sifter to form to an optional shape with (1/2) to (1/4) compressibility based on the volume in the non-compressed state.
