发明名称 HIGH CORROSION RESISTANT AG-MG ALLOY AND THIN FILM THEREOF
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an Ag-Mg alloy capable of preventing an Ag from being brackened in silver white gloss thereof due to sulfide components or the like and having a high reflectance and a low thermal conductivity. CONSTITUTION:By a film formed by the oxidation of Mg in the topmost surface layer of an Ag-Mg alloy in which Mg is incorporated by 1 to 10at% to Ag, Ag is shielded from sulfide components and ozone in the air to increase its corrosion resistance and to maintain its high reflectance. By the addition of Mg, its thermal conductivity is reduced. It is useful as a magnetic-optical recording medium, optical disk, lighting apparatus, mirror and reflecting film for road-sign. Furthermore, it can be used as a plating film for a household plastic product. The alloy film is formed on a substrate by sputtering.
