PURPOSE:To obtain a synthetic resin food container and a method for manufacturing it for which a web consisting of a laminate of a sheet of synthetic resin produced from waste materials with a transparent film of newly produced synthetic resin is used form the lid and the holding part. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of synthetic resin 2 produced by utilizing waste materials is used as the base material. To the two surfaces of the sheet 2 a thin, transparent film of newly produced synthetic resin 1, 7 is laid by adhesion to form a composite web 9. Continuously the composite web 9 is passed through as forming machine 10 and shaped to have projections and hollows to form lids A and holding parts B of containers 11 arranged both in the direction of the web and transversely. After the forming, the containers formed in one piece are passed through a cutting machine 12 to be separated into unit containers. A folding container having a lid A and a holding part B in solid continuation is formed in the above-mentioned manner. |
