PURPOSE:To prevent the water lung, pneumonia and other respiratory diseases or bedsore of a bedridden person by providing a rotation automatic control device for rotating and reciprocally moving a lying person around the center line in the longitudinal direction of the body of the lying person. CONSTITUTION:When a mattress base part 4 starts counterclockwise rotary motion, a left mattress tiltable part 3 is rotated in the stature direction of a lying person until it becomes a specific angle and, when the mattress base part 4 starts clockwise rotary motion, a right tiltable part 3 is rotated. The width of the mattress base part 4 is set so as to become as narrow as possible within a range not becoming smaller than the breadth of the shoulders of the lying person. The rotary motion of the mattress tiltable parts 3 is automatically performed in connection with a rotary device. Thereafter, the mattress base part 4 performs rotary motion around the center line 1 of the lying person 2. By this constitution, even a person incapable of turning over in bed can be automatically rotated similarly to turning over in bed. |
