PURPOSE:To obtain a central nervous system activation agent usable as an additive for food to enable easy taking of the agent. CONSTITUTION:The agent contains the body of a plant of the family Menispermaceae, its dried material, their lower alkane insoluble fraction, lower aliphatic ketone extract of the lower alkane insoluble fraction, fraction of the lower aliphatic ketone extract soluble in a mixture of a lower fatty acid ester and a halogenated lower alkane, or columbin fraction or chasmanthin fraction of the lower fatty acid ester-halogenated lower alkane soluble fraction or contains columbin or chasmanthin. |
