PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiological image read transfer method and system that can reduce the time for data transfer with revision in byte orders. SOLUTION: An image read means 10 reads a radiological image from an stimulable phosphor sheet 1 on which the radiological image is recorded to acquire digital image data Dg carrying the radiological image. When the image read means 10 transfers the image data Dg to a personal computer 20, the image read means 10 uses its own hardware unit to revise byte orders of the image data Dg into byte orders able to be processed by the personal computer 20 and then transfers the resulting data to the personal computer 20. |
