<p>The invention relates to an equipment and a weapon for fencing, whereby the weapon can be a conventional or non-conventional one, and is provided with a blade (2, 2a, 2b) whose end (6c) opposite to the point (8) interacts with sensing means (45, 66) whose amplified signals are used for detecting valid thrusts. In this way, the blade (2, 2a, 2b) must not be modified at all in order to 'electrify' the weapon, and maintains its total cross section, since there are no grooves on the blade for electric wires. According to a preferred embodiment, the sensors transmit their signals to telecontrols (50) provided on the weapon, and the latter ones transmit their signals to receivers, so that no electric connections are required between the athlete and the planche or the signalling devices for the thrusts.</p> |
