PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector plate formed to highly maintain the controllability of a shape of reflecting electrodes and to improve reflection characteristics by only the process step of forming active elements without requiring other special manufacturing process steps and a reflective liquid crystal display device as well as a method of manufacturing for the same. SOLUTION: The reflector plate including the active elements D and the rugged-shape reflecting electrodes on an insulative substrate is formed with a level-difference structure B formed by piling up plural columnar bodies A1 and A2 made successively smaller in width toward the upper side below the rugged-shape reflecting electrodes. The respective columnar bodies A1 and A2 comprise layer which are >=1 layer selected from all the layers L1 to Ln constituting the active elements D, are simultaneously laminated in the process step of manufacturing the active elements D and are obtained by prescribed patterning.
