Flower box (1), that is a container (1) for a substrate for growing at least one plant on top of a support, such as an ornemental plant. The flower box comprises at least one wall (3) consisting of elements (4), parts for connecting said elements to one another and optionally, a bottom (6) forming the base resting on the support. The flower box is of the modular type and comprises parts for connecting the elements (4) of the walls, the median planes of the grooves thereof forming different angles for assembling the container. The container's cross section, viewed in a plane substantially parallel to its base, is polygonal and can have different shapes and sizes according to the number and orientations of the constituent elements (4).
