A luminaire insert is proposed, in particular for lamps (21) in model making, at least one luminous element (15) being arranged at an end region of an elongate printed circuit board (11), there extending on this printed circuit board (11) conductor tracks from this luminous element up to the opposite end region of the printed circuit board for supplying this luminous element (15) with power. The printed circuit board (11) is designed as a flexible or twistable strip which can be threaded also into holes or channels of a holding device. As a result, even lamps which are already present can be provided with holes for retrospective electrical illumination, which holes can also be bent or kinked so that the luminaire insert can then be pushed in.
