<p>The invention relates to a device for controlling the movement of parts which are operated by external forces, which device is particularly suitable for the identification of obstructions in a gap between approaching parts and which has a limited monitoring range/sensitivity range in order to avoid producing interference signals. The invention can be used, for example, as collision protection, particularly as a device for protecting against objects being trapped in movement devices (for example window winders, sliding roof) of a motor vehicle and uses at least one radiation source for electromagnetic or mechanical waves and at least one corresponding receiver, the waves forming a sensitivity or monitoring region in conjunction with one or more boundary surfaces of the parts which move with respect to one another. According to the invention, the device is characterised in that the radiation reaches the receiver via at least one reflection (a) on a boundary surface between the parts which move with respect to one another, which boundary surface is relatively highly reflective in comparison with the object to be identified or (b) on a surface, which is highly reflective in comparison with the boundary surface of the moving parts, of the object to be identified the boundary surface corresponding to the contact surface or being connected to it. <IMAGE></p> |
