The invention relates to a warp-knitting machine with at least one lay bar which executes an oscillating movement and on which individual thread guides are pivotably mounted in order to execute a racking movement between two end positions (normal position or patterning position) on the lay bar and are connected in a mixed distribution over the lay bar to pull control ropes, in such a way that all the thread guides suspended on a pull control rope execute the same racking movement which is imparted to the pull control ropes by servomotors, the thread guides containing spring bars for connection to the pull control ropes, and stops being mounted on the lay bar in order to limit the racking movement of the thread guides. To prevent the racking movement of individual thread guides, there are provided blocking means which retain the respective thread guides in an end position, the spring bars of the retained thread guides absorbing the racking movement of the pull control ropes.
