In conjunction with a printing frame for copiers in the printing trade, a film being placed on a document to be copied and this onto a rubber blanket (rubber sheet) (vacuum blanket), supported by a flexible screen, and being pressed against an applied glass screen, and a partial vacuum being built up in the interspace between the rubber blanket and the glass screen, it is proposed that there is placed between the rubber blanket and the glass screen at the side of the border a circumferential, in particular flexible sealing profile, that there are provided in the border region of the flexible screen a plurality of in particular equidistant holes and that the holes are connected in terms of function to a vacuum pump. As a result, the flexible screen is pressed together with the rubber blanket, starting from the axis of symmetry, against the glass screen and nestles radially against the glass screen until the maximum partial vacuum presses the flexible screen in a tight and planar manner against the glass screen over the entire cross-section of the document to be copied and of the film, accompanied by the deformation of the sealing profile. <IMAGE>
