The proposal is for a wiper blade which is used for cleaning windows on motor vehicles. The wiper blade comprises a multisection supporting-bow frame to which a driven wiper arm is coupled and on which an elongate wiper strip is held, which wiper strip is made of flexible material, is held such that it is guided by holding claws arranged on frame sections and, seen in cross-section, has a strip spine which is grasped by a plurality of holding claws and protrudes with end portions over the holding claws. Connected to the strip spine, via a web, is an elongate wiper lip which rests on the window to be wiped, and arranged in a longitudinal recess in the strip spine is a flexible reinforcing rail, the length of which corresponds approximately to the length of the wiper strip, securing means holding the wiper strip on the supporting frame and the reinforcing rail in the strip spine. A particularly simple, preassembled exchangeable wiper strip results if the longitudinal recess in the wiper-strip spine is designed as a through-channel which is closed all around and the cross-section of which is matched to the cross-section of the reinforcing rail, if, furthermore, the reinforcing rail has, on at least one longitudinal side, two widened portions which are arranged spaced apart, protrude partially over the cross-section and form the securing means and the distance between them is larger than the width of a holding claw in the longitudinal direction of the wiper strip, and if in ...
