PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of automating a variety of settings for simulations. SOLUTION: An interface is provided between a simulator and the subject of simulation. The contents of settings used to match the subject of simulation are read by a computer from specifications or the like. The contents read are automatically set into the interface by the computer. When the contents of the settings indicate wiring, connector arrangement information about the subject of simulation is read from the specifications by the computer and written into the interface by the computer, whereby wiring suited for the arrangement of connectors is formed.
