Device for mounting a light strip of a motor vehicle

The invention relates to a mounting device for a light strip of a motor vehicle with a panel arranged between lights. In order to ensure both unproblematic behaviour with respect to thermal expansion and achieve precise alignment of the individual elements with respect to one another and with respect to the body of the vehicle it is proposed to secure the panel, arranged between the lights of the motor vehicle, centrally with respect to the body of the centre of the vehicle. The lights of a motor vehicle are connected to the panel at one end and to the body of the vehicle at the other, the connection between the light and the panel being displaceable in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the panel and being bendable in a horizontal plane. The light strip which is formed from the two lights and the panel is thus supported centrally on the body of the vehicle at its end point. In the subclaims, advantageous developments of the invention are described. Thus, at least one second, off-centre mounting point is provided which can however be moved in the longitudinal extent of the panel. As a result of the distance between the first and second mounting points, the alignment of the panel can be maintained even in the case of relatively large forces acting on the panel.
