The invention relates to a blocking or coupling device for rotating shafts, especially to a steering-column lock for motor vehicles and bicycles. In the blocked state in this case, the steering shaft is blocked and the steering wheel uncoupled, so that a breaking of the blocking pin by a rotation of the steering wheel with great force is no longer possible. In the released state, the steering wheel and steering shaft are positively connected. The steering-column lock is actuated by means of the rotation of the ignition key.
