A device for measurement of the retinal blood flow rate comprises an irradiation system for the point-focal application of a measurement laser beam on to a blood flow in the fundus of an eye to be examined, a light receiving device for reception of the light of the measurement laser beam which is reflected by the eye fundus, the blood flow condition of the eye fundus being measured by the light receiving device from the light reception signal, and a specifying element for specification of the position of the light reflected by the eye fundus in the direction of the depth of the eye fundus.
