<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment device which fully reduces a BOD value. SOLUTION: The special feature of this invention is that, in a wastewater treatment device 10 to perform an ozone processing by passing wastewater flow into an ozone treatment tank 2, a filler layer 6 is contained in the ozone treatment tank 2 which is made of a honeycomb structure or of a mesh-type with a specific surface area and a void ratio being 80-200 (m<2> /m<3> ) and 90-97%, respectively. According to this invention, most of ozone is converted into oxygen in the ozone treatment tank 2 which makes it possible to create an aerobic environment in the filler layer 6, and a microorganism is propagated to enable an enough biological treatment. On the other hand, in the filler layer 6, SS is fully decomposed and reduced. At this time, although BOD is increased by decomposition of SS, the microorganism propagated in the filler layer 6 fully decomposes BOD.</p> |
