Traveller's distress pouch comprising an envelope (1) consisting of a front and back portion (11), the latter having means (6) for fastening the envelope to a support. The envelope contains at least one personal distress passport setting out details which are relevant if emergency assistance is required and, optionally, information which could be useful to provide him with moral support. The fastening means (6) at the back of the pouch is designed to removably secure the envelope to the support. It can advantageously consist of a Velcro3 band with a self-adhesive outer surface (7) protected by a protective film (8).
