COMPLETE PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM

The invention relates to a complete personal identification system comprising two parts. The first part consists of an intelligent electronic chip which can be used to store basic encrypted information about the individual to be identified (name and other personal data as well as a finger print, used alone or accompanied by other biometric identification parameters). Said chip can be integrated in an independent identification card or in other cards or documents, such as bank cards, credit cards or passports). The second part comprises a device that performs two functions consisting in: 1) reading the personal and biometric information contained in the chip which is carried by the identified individual; and 2) comparing said information with the information read for the same biometric parameter taken directly from the person to be identified.
