PURPOSE:To achieve the improvement in performance effect by producing the portions where high pitched tone overlap in at least two key regions by up or down control of octave. CONSTITUTION:A key switch array 11 of matrix form is provided to a musical instrument 10. A key coder 14 scans from the low pitched tone keys of the array 11 and its output key codes is subjected to key code processing 25 by a processing circuit 17 at the time of a low key region, causing the octave of the key codes to be increased by 1 step. Hence, in the system of the processor 18 and producer 13, the low key region is doubled and the key codes for base having been held in a register 26 are supplied to a producer 19. The key touch sounds of a high key region produced in melody timbre from a producer 12 are supplied together with the sounds produced from the producers 13 and 19 to a sound system 30. |
