Method for extruding a synthetic thermoplastic resin comprising adding a lubricant processing aid consisting of 100 to 300 ppm of an organosilicon resin selected from: i) copolymer which includes the mol. R3SiO178, R2SiO2/2, RSiO3/2 and SiO4/2 (where R is selected from one or more alkyl radicals of up to 6C atoms; aryl radicals, alkenyl average mol. wt. of 1200-10000; ii) copolymer as (i) and in addition a siloxane polymer; R3SiO(R2SiO)nSiR3 where n - 1 - 100,000; iii) copolymer as (i) and in addition an absorbing filler selected from; silica, calcium carbonate, talc, mica and clay; and iv) copolymer as (ii) and (iii).
