<p>The invention concerns allophanic acid derivatives of formula I R<1>-N(R<2>)CO-N(R<3>)CO-X<1>-Q-X<2>-G I and pharmaceutically acceptable metabolically labile esters or amides thereof, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, in which R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, X<1>, Q, X<2> and G have the meanings given in the specification.
